Within a few days of moving house we discovered a rat infestation in the loft.

“I requested a quote from CID pest control for wasp nest removal and almost within a minute of pressing the submit button, I got a call from Lewis and booked an appointment for the next day. He arrived before time, did his work, removed the huge wasp nest and finished in about half hour, all tidied up. He also called in the next day to check if there was any residual wasp activity, but as expected there was none. All this impressive service for a very affordable price! Really really happy to recommend Lewis 100%”

When I had Tony in, Tony inspected both our house and neighbour’s house carefully and provided reasonable plans with least impact on our daily life. Tony visited and carried out a thorough investigation and it transpired that the rat was actually using our loft as it’s home. Tony immediately put us at ease about the situation and laid bait and traps both in our loft and outside the property. Tony returned two weeks later with the issue now dealt with. “Contacted Tony concerning droppings that I had found, came to the house within a couple days, looked in all the ground floor rooms to ascertain where the entry point was. 4 lots of bait was put down in 2 rooms, Within 3 hours of him leaving the property, some of the bait had been taken, after 1 week Tony came back, disposed of one rat and put more bait down. On his third visit 2 weeks later, checked on all the bait, all intact – Rat problem solved!. Very professional, polite and competitive prices. I would recommend Tony to anyone who has a pest problem.”

Tony came around a few hours, after thoroughly searching everywhere he laid traps behind the kitchen skirting boards and one under the sink where he could tell a rat had been nibbling on my carrier bags and cables. A few days later the trap went off, Tony came round and removed the rat! He left the traps down for a few more weeks to make sure there were no more – which there weren’t. It was a pleasure to deal with Tony, he is a lovely man and I would highly recommend CID.”

“I was really impressed with CID’s approach and professionalism and the way the situation was dealt with. We had a great chat whilst he worked and he’s a very pleasant person to deal with too. I told Tony when he left that if ever we had problems again he would be our go-to-guy and I meant it. I highly recommend his work and when you have any type of pests in your home you need someone who is knowledgable, straight talking, thorough and effective. This is CID through and through. — We discovered our problem on a Sunday morning and although others companies state they are open on a Sunday CID were the only company who actually were we I called, so it was a real relief when I was able to speak with someone. Because let’s be honest, if you discover a problem you look for reassurance and a plan to get things sorted very quickly. Tony came over the next day and after an incredibly thorough investigation around the house he was able to provide a very specific recommendation, with a view to undertake the work and come back within one week. As it turned out Tony was right and as a result when he came back one week later he was able to isolate the problem and eradicate it permanently (touch wood).”

(Rat was chewing through a plastic water pipe causing floods) Tony surveyed the scene and identified routes of the problem – existing main sewer and our redundant drains off as route into and under the house. Pointed us in the right direction to get onto Thames Water to get drains fixed. Assured us about the rat baiting to kill rat. Proposed to fit a drain rat flap in the drains but last minute unfortunately we couldn’t put this in due to issues with Thames water and neighbours shared drainage – very understanding.”

“Highly recommended. I woke on a Sunday morning to find my bathroom filled with wasps, and a rather angry wasp nest on the side of my house. First company I called couldn’t do anything for a couple of days, and obviously I didn’t want to wait. I called CID Pest Control and spoke to Tony who was round a couple of hours later to sort the problem for me. He understood the emergency I had and gave up his day off with family to help me out. No call out fee and no extra charge because it was Sunday. He was clean, professional and very affable. Will definitely be keeping his card!”
